Balance Labs vs Jitta Compared
Jitta is one of Southeast Asia's most established fundamental-analysis platforms. This is not a hit piece — it is a fit guide: where Jitta shines, where our workflow-first approach differs, and who each tool is for.
Balance Labs is an AI stock research workspace for investors and traders, combining AI Stock Chat, a Berkshire-style fundamentals desk, Stock Screener timing signals, and Labs backtesting. The free plan includes Stock Chat and the Screener preview with 30 monthly AI credits — no card required.
What Jitta does well
Jitta (jitta.com, founded in Thailand) built its name on two clean ideas: the Jitta Score, a 1–10 rating of how fundamentally "clean" a company is, and the Jitta Line, an intrinsic-value estimate drawn directly on the price chart. Both compress a lot of accounting into one glance — exactly what a screening-first investor wants.
Its home-turf advantage is real: SET-listed Thai stocks are first-class citizens there, alongside US listings. For a Thai investor whose portfolio lives on the SET board, that coverage matters more than anything else — and we say so plainly: Balance Labs does not cover the SET board. Our book is 753 tickers across the US, Hong Kong, China A-share, Korea, and India.
Where the approaches differ
Jitta answers "which companies are clean and cheap?" — a scoring question, and it scores well. Balance Labs answers "should I buy this, and what would prove me wrong?" — a workflow question. A score starts a decision; it does not finish one. Our workflow continues where a score stops: business-quality checklist, a valuation ceiling you can recompute, written thesis breaks, and only then the timing signal.
The second difference is testing. As of September 2026 we could not find a strategy backtesting module in Jitta's public web product. Balance Labs includes Labs: describe a strategy in plain language, and it returns Sharpe ratio, max drawdown, win rate, and the equity curve — run on the same dated data the research pages cite, with every run publicly ranked so nothing can be cherry-picked.

Who each tool is for
- Choose Jitta if your portfolio is mostly SET-listed Thai stocks, or you want a fast, quantified cleanliness score across a large watchlist. It is the better-covered tool for Thailand.
- Choose Balance Labs if you research US and Asian global markets and want the whole decision loop — quality, valuation ceiling, thesis breaks, timing, and a backtest of your actual strategy — in one workspace, in English or Thai.
- Use both: score the SET book on Jitta, run the global book through our workflow. Different markets, no overlap conflict.
The buyers' checklist (applies to both of us)
Whatever you pick, demand the same things: an explainable score, an auditable method, dated data you can cite, and a workflow that ends in a decision — not just a rating. If a tool hides its methodology or promises returns, walk away. That standard is why we publish ours: the full workflow is free to read.

FAQ
Is Jitta good?
For fundamental screening with a clean quantified score, yes — Jitta Score (1–10) and the Jitta Line intrinsic-value overlay are a legitimate, long-running Thai-built toolset, especially for Thailand SET and US listings. Fit depends on whether you want a scored screen or a full reasoning workflow.
Is Balance Labs a Jitta alternative?
For investors researching US, Hong Kong, China A-share, Korean, or Indian stocks, yes: Balance Labs replaces the single score with the full workflow that produces a decision. For Thailand SET stocks specifically, Jitta covers them and we do not.
Does Balance Labs cover Thai SET stocks?
No — the research book covers 753 tickers across US, Hong Kong, China A-share, Korea, and India. Thai investors researching US and global stocks are well served (guides exist in Thai), but for SET-listed names Jitta is the better-covered tool.
Can I backtest a strategy on Jitta?
As of September 2026 we could not find a strategy backtesting module in Jitta's public web product. Balance Labs includes Labs: describe a strategy in plain language and it returns Sharpe, drawdown, win rate, and the equity curve.
Which is cheaper, Jitta or Balance Labs?
Both have free tiers. Balance Labs' free plan includes 30 monthly AI credits with no card required, and paid tiers start at $19/month. Jitta's tiers change over time — compare value against your real workflow, not list prices.
What is the Jitta Score?
A 1–10 fundamental quality rating that grades how "clean" a company's financials are, paired with the Jitta Line intrinsic-value estimate on the price chart. Screening signals — a full decision workflow continues where a score stops.
