The model in four inputs
- Book value (or normalized earnings base)
- Expected growth — defended, not hoped
- Discount rate — your hurdle, stated
- Margin of safety — the gap you demand
Output: a value band with the exact assumptions attached — plus the price above which the thesis needs new information (the ceiling).
Then stress it
